Yes, teenagers have always drunk alcohol but due to the crackdown on underage drinking in pubs have no where to go to drink responsibly. Out in parks with friends makes it more acceptable to drink extreem amounts whereas in a pub you would ...have been refused before it got that bad.
I have lots more issues that this raises - but not on a blackberry!! Hope that this is useful.

Hi Lisa , hope its all going well. I used to be an A&E nurse as you know, and still have lots of friends there.I often wonder about what the papers say and government statistics, they ususally distort the truth for there own ends, selling p...apers and winning elections. cutting budgets or distracting us from more serious issues. Teenagers drink, get pissed end up in A&E sober up and go home. Maybe people phone more ambulances than they used to, maybe statistics are now collected more than used to be. I would qustion this sharp rise in drunken kids , the popullation of our country is always growing and so the numbers of everything get higher, like the amount of A* students grades getting higher year on year, but we don't seem to all be clever do we! Hopemy ramblings are useful. xxxxxxxxxxSee more
